This month was the Missionary Ventures bi-annual regional conference. Randall and I were not going to go because of our finances but God had other plans.MV raised the support to cover the food and stay a the Skylark Retreat Center in Nicaragua. It is such a beautiful place with lots of grass and trees. They have a outside gym/meeting area, swimming pool, playground, volleyball.
A couple that works with MV had some bus tickets they were not able to use so they had them put in our name. We had everything paid for.We had some great worship times, preaching, learning sessions, and free time. Josiah loved playing with the other kids. But the dirt and rocks were his favorites! He learned to climb up the slide by himself and go down.

It was such a peaceful time that it felt like a vacation.
One day the guys went to see some local ministries in Managua and we ladies had some time to talk about health on the mission field, home school, kids, and a great prayer time for each lady. It was really special to meet them and fellowship.

Sounds really neat. I am so glad that you got some time to fellowship with other missionary ladies. I know that was really special. So neat that God provided everything for you all to be there!
