With only a month till we leave Costa Rica I have been busy. Days have been filled with trying to finish up last minute things, decide what to take and packing and decide what to leave and packing it.
I have made list to try to keep track of it all. People to visit, things to do, appointments... here are just a few of the many things.
Ship a box to Nicaragua of ministry things
Dentist checkups and get my braces off
Close bank accounts
Close Cell phone accounts
Send out a letter (see below) to our mailing list
Sale things we don´t need (garage sale, ebay, Craig's list)
Set up an account to continue to pay the health insurance for Randall´s retirement purposes
Eye check up for Randall
Pay all bills and cancel
Renew Randall´s licence
Finish sewing projects
Next week is Easter week and may business are closed the whole week which really limits our time for accomplish appointments and things but will be some great time to be with family and enjoy those last few days with them.
Nights have not been going well as I have been weaning Josiah from nursing and trying to get him to sleep in his crib. Before he even goes to sleep he lays in bed for an hour at least, sometimes quietly sometimes screaming. He is still waking up 2 times a night at least and usually moves into our bed.
Last night we also had a 2" scorpion in our room. I sat up at about 11 pm to take some medicine for a head ache and somehow saw it in the dark beginning to craw under Josiah´s crib. Lights came on and a chase begin. Not exactly a restful night! Thankfully the scorpions here are not very poisoners but still no fun at all.
In is all though I try to take some time and enjoy the sites, culture and life of what has been my home for the past 5 years. It will be a big adjustment to go back to the states and begin life there.
