Hot or Cold?

Costa Rican weather has been very up and down recently. We will have a few cold days, in the 60´s with wind and then a few hot days, in the 80´s. Remember we don´t have heat or air in our house. So what do I do to stay comfortable?

Hot:
Open all windows and doors so we can get a breeze
Take a cold shower
Wear sandals or flip flops and light clothes
Fan

Cold:
Sleep with a thick blanket
Wear a sweater
Wear pants
Wear sock with my flip flops or shoes
Cuddle with husband and baby
Bake something
After your hot shower turn it cold for a few minutes (this causes your body to heat up and warm you. After you get out you will feel warm. After all how to people bath when all they have is cold water. Be careful about going outside in cold weather with wet hair it makes you cold and can give ear pain).

Maybe you want to turn the heat down or the air off and try some of these to save some money. Sometimes we get so spoiled by having things at the flip of a switch that we forget there are others who have much less and who live without the comforts we are so used to.
