Garbanzos

This is a great recipe because it is very versatile and frugal.

Garbanzos (soak overnight and then cook if you are not using can)
Pork, ham or Chicken in small pieces (season as desired)
Tomato
Tomato Sauce (spaghetti, or whatever) or Ketchup
Broth seasoning
Cilantro
Onion
Bell pepper
Thyme or oregano or Italian Seasoning
Pepper
Salt

Cook garbanzo beans as normal be careful not to. In a small pot heat oil and and saute meat (if using), onion, garlic, bell pepper. Add tomato and tomato sauce or ketchup and spices. Cook a few minutes. Add beans and juice (add as much juice as you want depending on consistency you want) and cook until taste have blended and meat is done. Add cilantro at the end.

Serve over rice or like a soup with bread.

You can also use white beans like navy beans for this.

Sorry there are no measurements! I just cook the amount of beans my family eats and add the rest to looks and taste.
